Request Data Deletion — TrackIron
You can delete your data stored by TrackIron using the options below.
1. Guest users (no account)
If you used TrackIron in guest mode without Google sign-in, your data is stored only on your device. There is no server-side account or cloud profile to delete. Follow Section 2 below to remove local data.
2. Delete data on your device (instant)
Most TrackIron data — including workout logs, nutrition entries, progress history, and preferences — stays on your phone. To remove it:
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Go to Apps → TrackIron.
- Tap Storage → Clear data (or Clear storage).
Alternatively, uninstall the app. This removes all local data.
If you are signed in, you can also use Sign out in the app to end your session and remove local auth tokens. Signing out does not delete your local workout or nutrition history, and does not delete cloud data — use Section 3 for that.
3. Request deletion of cloud (server) data
If you signed in with Google, the app may have stored data on Supabase (the cloud backend), including:
- Account information: your Google-linked email and authentication account.
- Profile: name, weight, height, age, gender, activity level, and daily calorie goal.
- Leaderboard entries: display name, exercise name, weight, reps, estimated one-rep max, and submission date for any PRs published to the global leaderboard.
Your full workout log, nutrition log, and hydration settings are not stored on the server and cannot be deleted remotely — they exist only on your device (Section 2).
What I will delete on request
When you email a valid deletion request, I will delete matching records from Supabase, typically including:
- Your profile row.
- All leaderboard PR rows tied to your account.
- Your Supabase authentication account (or disable access), as applicable.
I will respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.
How to request deletion
Email the developer with:
- Subject line: TrackIron data deletion request
- The Google account email address you used to sign in (required to locate your account)
- Whether you want full account deletion or only specific leaderboard entries removed
- Your display name in the app (optional, helps verify leaderboard rows)
Email:
shrikant.hiwase@gmail.com
Include the Google email you used to sign in so I can locate and delete your server records.
4. After deletion
- Cloud profile and leaderboard entries will no longer be accessible through the app.
- You may sign in again with Google to create a new account; previous server data will not be restored unless you had local backups.
- Local data on your device is unaffected by server deletion unless you also clear app storage (Section 2).
